If no, you should probably not do it. Trained engineers use computers to do calculations, but if needed they have the training to calculate by hand and build intuition to see something is off.
If you do not have this, you are not an engineer. You are just tool user and things might go horribly wrong.
It is not a coincidence that we have certified engineers. Of course there are smart and capable people without formal education and training. But do not assume you are one just because some tool you use makes you feel smart.
