I often see that people not capable of dealing with their issue like to pass the solving of the issue to someone else. It can be as trivial as setting up a notification rules for an app. It is easier to say to someone else to stop posting than to adjust notification settings to them.
I cannot imagine how powerless life this must be. You are at whims of algorithms and other people all the time as every little thing is in your mind an externality and not something you can change.
